So. I have two tests to take next week, an enrollment form that I'm almost certain to fill out without a Spell Checker, and a few short-term loans to apply for....And I'll actually be in college.

First person in my own personal family's generation to do it...My sister took a few community credits to get an Insurance Adjuster's license...But, other that that?...This is big, apparently, with the relatives...

I wake up, now and again, as if listening for something...Waiting for something...I think it's just that I'm afraid that all this 'good' news is building up my 'bad' Karma...And it'll come down on me all at once, without warning...Scary, eh?...

Is it wrong that I'm planning to file for Child support on my ex? I feel almost guilty for it, for some reason. Sure, it's usually something that girls do to guys, but the situation fits the scenario, so why not, right?...Still, I can't help but feel somewhat guilty.

I never thought that I'd get to this point. On the verge of a great new 'place' in my life, and it amazes me how 'easy' it was...Where'd 'that' come from?...

I may get rid of the computer...I haven't decided yet. I've heard that I'll have plenty of free time once I'm taking classes, so we'll see...

More later, maybe...My feet hurt.

*frowns* Don't give up the computer. You'll be kicking yourself in the ass for not having it when you need it for college studies. There are even online classes that are available so that you can spend more time at home with the boys.

As for the rest of it, if there's anyone more deserving of good kharma on credit, it's you. :)

And the child support? Hell yeah. They're her kids, too. Equality and all that. And I'm a mom. She needs to be responsible for those kids in whatever way the law expects her to and you should expect no less than that.

If this makes sense lol

You should NOT feel guilty for getting her to pay child support - This is just a way for her to HELP her kids out - there is NOTHING wrong with that - what is wrong is if she didn't want to pay child support..That would be fucked up - but please don't feel guilty for asking for the help with the kids that you deserve =)

Would you pay?

As already stated this is Mom's method of sharing in the financial responsibility for her offspring. You are just getting it done in a more legal method to insure that their money, your children's, will be there for them as they get older and have different needs and so on. If the situation was reversed would you be upset in sending the money? I personally do not think that would be the case so do not feel bad or guilty in asking for her to do the same. Hopefully everything will be amicable and so forth with everyone wanting what is best for the children.
As for losing the computer I, like others, likely have selfish reasons for wanting you to stick around but as you said once you start classes you will find you have a greater need for a computer and perhaps greater time in which to use it. Being able to use one at school is great but having one at home is a lifesaver. Also as your kids get older they will need one as well. Having this one now will be something you can pass on to them when you get rich teaching and can afford a better one LOL.
Anyway good luck with everything and if you do disappear know I will keep a good thought for you in all your trying to do.

Puts her foot down

I won't allow it. Not the _computer_! *gets all selfish*
Seriously, though, you do what makes YOU happy. Whichever way it goes, we had a great run and I appreciate deeply all the times you were there for me.
Best of luck in your 'new' life, Satan. :P
